Cats vs. Dogs

Cats and dogs are both loving animals. Cats and dogs have different characteristics that make them both interesting. I would say dogs are more of a loyal friend who will be there when you need then, while a cat is just crazy friend who will make you laugh. Dogs are are the type of animals who are the opposite from cats because you will never see a dog jump to high places and climbing things. How many times have you found a dog climbing up a tree or telephone pole? For this reason, dogs are known to stay and face their danger. When challenged, dogs will more likely become aggressive and attack. Dogs are also way more social than cats are. Dogs enjoy the company of other dogs and people. In contrast, Cats are extremely skilled in jumping and climbing. It is quite often that I spot a cat climbing a tree or jumping down from the top of a statue. For this reason, whenever they are faced with danger or feel threaten they will resort to their skill and flee. Trained dogs will let random passersby pet them and play with them. The same cannot be said for cats. Cats, most of the time, prefer to be the only pet of a household. As for letting random passersby pet them, not even trained cats like this. Most cats, or at least in my case and from those I have witnessed, runaway the moment you look at them or move one step towards them. Another difference is in their hunting skills. Cats are better at picking up quick movements and reacting while dogs are better at using their sense of smell to track. Dog and cat are one of the two most popular pet there is and you can find almost in any home or even in the streets. Both animal carry different personalities, but yet both can be lovable and carrying with their owner in their own way. Both have different personalities but both benefit from great owners and love.

The Special Person

A person who is very interesting would be my five year old cousin, Maria Elena. She is so unpredictable but yet funny. She is about 4 feet tall, average size, light brown/blonde haired, light brown eyes, and light skinned. She is always up to something which is why she is very interesting. She loves me because I am always with her and I like to hang out with her because she makes me laugh. If we are at her house, and she sees me sitting down, she comes to me, takes my hand, and leads me to her room, and begins taking out all her toys. She has a play kitchen in her room, so she pretends to cook for me and feeds me. We then begin to take pictures and we both laugh at our faces. Maria Elena is such a small trouble maker, because she is serious for a second and next thing you know she makes a little suspicious face and does something crazy and funny. Maria Elena can be very energetic at times, but she can also be calm at times.  Maria Elena is always full of surprises; she is one special little girl. Maria Elena looks like such an innocent good girl, but she is such a little cute devil inside. She likes to feed her bunnies and always makes sures they have clothes on. She has an imagination of comedy writer because all she does is make you laugh to always see you happy!

Dressing Formally vs. Informally

When people dress formally is because they are dressing to impress the public around them then dressing informally, were you make no sense. Dressing formally and informally are two different style of dressing. Dressing informally is like a regular plain t-shirt or blouse with jeans or sweats pants and sneakers, with your hair not so well done, looking like if you got up from bed. For a girl, when dressing formally we have to consider many things and do many things to make us look WOW. Girls usually dress up in a nice cute dress with flats or heels (heels look more elegant), do their hair nice (some may even go to a beauty salon to do their hair), we add some nice pair of earrings, a nice set of a bracelet and necklace and we are ready to go.  Some girls choose to go a little extra and go do their nails at a nail spa, get either a manicure or get acrylics; other girls do their makeup because they feel more confident and it’s a formal occasion. For guys, they dress up in a tuxedo or a dressy shirt, slacks, and add a nice watch, belt, and a nice tie or bow. Some guys go get a haircut for extra because they like to look fresh rather than having their hair long like a bum. You can straight tell when a person dresses formally and informally. When someone dresses formally, you look at the person differently in a good way and you are with a face expression that says “Woah, you have class and style!” So both terms have their suggestion of dressing and how people want to expose it.

Sweet Vs. Spicy

Spicy and sweet foods are very different from each other because they have complete opposites in taste! The only resemblance is that both are two kinds of foods. Spicy foods have some sort of sharp taste. A sweet food has its sugary side. Spicy foods include anything with any type of chili. Sweet foods are foods with the complete opposite taste. Sweet foods contain sugar of some sort. Some common spicy foods are spicy chicken, nachos with jalapenos, and more. Sweet foods are more common to everyone because they are always around the house and parties. Sweet foods like cake, ice cream, milkshakes, candy, cookies, fruit and more. Sweet foods contain lots of fat in them so they make a person gain a few pounds or so with no health benefit. According to scientist’s research, spicy foods help cure cancer because the spiciness attacks the cancer cells in one’s body. Many children and teenagers choose sweet foods because their taste buds like sweet foods and the fat it contains. Majority of adults like spicy foods because their taste buds ask for it. Sweet and spicy foods are the complete opposite because they satisfy different taste buds. I’m the type of person who goes for sweets food and not spicy food because I’m the type of person who doesn’t eat spicy. In which it all equals to the person on what they want to choose to eat. Of these foods are equally as satisfying, depending on the hunger of the person.

The Mood Of Weather

When I see the weather it makes my mood changes. In my opinion weather has makes people have mood swings just like when a ring show you your mood. Weather affects my mood in many ways. Depending on the weather is how I feel inside. If it is burning hot outside, I get sleepy and want to go to sleep or I want to go swimming. I like the hot weather because I can wear some of my favorite summer clothes. If it is warm outside, I want to go to the park for a walk. If it is windy and cold, I like to stay inside because I feel lazy and gloomy inside. During winter, I get really lazy because I do not like being active in the cold. If it is raining outside, I get calm because the sound of rain calms my body and mind. Depending the weather depends on my mood. If it is hot I am tired exhausted, peaceful, or sleepy. If it is cold and windy, I am lazy, gloomy, mad, cold, or disappointed. If it is raining I am most likely calm and serene. No one wants to go out swimming with a big smile on cold a day which is why people get lazy and cold on chilly days. On sunny days no one wants to go to Big Bear Lake because its just not the right day to feel like taking a road trip to a place that there is nothing to do on a sunny day but rather on a chilly rainy day. On rainy days some people get extremely lazy and don’t feel like going out at all so they choose to stay home and spend quality time with their family or friends.  Mood weather I part of life that everyone goes through.

Public schooling and home schooling

Public schooling and home schooling are very different from each other but with the same learning intentions. The good thing about them is that they both intend for the students to learn whether it is public or home schooling. Public schooling requires the students to go to a certain location where the school is located at. Home schooling is school right at home. A teacher can come over to your house or you may go to the teacher’s house or you just study on your own with the help of your parents. Public schooling has a strict schedule and home schooling may or may not. Public schooling offers nutritional break, and lunch. Home schooling may offer nutritional break or it may not. Homeschooling is different from public schooling because home schooling could vary in the times and public schooling does not. Public schooling requires students to move from class to class, and home schooling does not. Throughout public schooling, you will get to meet new children your age other teachers, and in home schooling you most likely will not get to experience that. In public schooling you will get the chance to make friends and enemies and learn how to choose your friends wisely and in home schooling you will not. In home schooling you will have more time to do more things because you will be home after your home schooling is over so you can do chores, homework right away or whatever else you choose to do. Public schooling is not like home where you can sit however or do whatever you want, there are rules that the students and teachers must follow and strict standards that the teachers have to follow throughout the year. When it comes to public schooling vs. homeschooling, both have much to offer, they both have their pros n con, and both are up to the parents to decide where to send their child.

Knowledge and Understanding

Understanding and knowledge have two different views in tem of concepts. Understanding is defining as the mental process of a person who comprehends while knowledge is the acquaintance of facts, truths, or principles, as from study or investigation. Both understanding and knowledge are mental process a person makes. However, I believe there is a difference. For you to understand something there must be a "click" in your mind. for example if you see a rose flower with thorns on the stem and someone tells you that thorn hurts, it is easy for something to click in your mind and you to see the sharpness to the thorn and understand that that thorn can hurt you. However, you do not know how much it could hurt you or what the degree of pain is. That comes from knowledge because the only way you can find out exactly how much it hurts is by experiencing it yourself.  Understanding comes from the mind while knowledge comes from an act. In other words you do not need knowledge to understand. You can understand something first and then choose whether you want to investigate it and become knowledgeable on the particular subject. Having knowledge is going beyond what a normal person would understand in a subject. Knowledge has the concept that no one can take away from you, and understanding you do not have until finalize what you gather in your information

The Best Teacher Ever

Throughout my life at school, there has been one teacher that has been the most effective teacher I’ve had. His name is Mr. Row and I was fortunate to have him for U.S history in my Junior High school. I had him for eighth grade, because he was a eighth grade who knows how to teach you real history and know how to make a student learn. He is young, cool, funny, and knows how to teach very well. He made learning fun for everyone and that is why everyone loved his class and him. He would make fun learning games for us by having to make us do fun projects that we would actually enjoy. Afterward he would reward the students so that next time the class would play, would play and try their best to win which meant we had to study. Mr. Row always liked the class working together than doing solo work. She always liked to involve the whole class and treat everyone equally like if we were her children. He always teaches his students leadership and citizenship by giving them responsibilities in class and outside of class he likes to put together fun learning activities. He wrote a personal letter to each of his students because he wants us to remember him, and to keep in touch with him and let him know what we choose to do. His certainly the most effective teacher I’ve had.

The Sweet thing About Sleeping

To me and to alot of people sleep is a very important. Its a big important health factor that everyone needs in their life. Sleep not only regenerates the brain but the human body as well. Sleep is a big part of the everyday life of everyone. Without sleep, no one would be full with energy ready to work or even walk. Without sleep many people are weak and tired causing them to be slow, and lazy. I know that during the week I never get enough sleep to be full with energy because of the crazy schedule I have during the week, but on weekends I take advantage to sleep in and catch up on my sleep to be full of energy at least on Monday. Not getting enough sleep distracts you from focusing on your work or whatever your daily goal is because you feel so tired that the only thing on your mind is wanting to get over this and going to bed to sleep for as long as you can. Sleep is very important in the health of one because sleep not only helps regenerate the body but helps the body lose a certain percent of weight.  Sleep is essential to everyone and skipping out on it does affect the body because the body does so much that it needs a break throughout the whole day so that the next day it can start all over with energy and continue doing it every day. Sleep is crucial to the health of everyone, and everyone needs it. 

Movie: Aquamarine

Aquamarine was an amazing love comedy movie starring at Sara Paxton, Joanna 'JoJo' Levesque and Emma Roberts. I expect nothing less from this love story. It has everything from love to real friendship and how life should be when things have to be given up. In my way of viewing this movie it made learn many lessons. In the movie Aquamarine there are two smart girls, mostly sensible 13-year-olds at the end of their last summer together. Claire (Emma Roberts), who lives at a small Florida resort with her grandparents, and Hailey (pop singer Joanna "JoJo" Levesque) are discovering the joys of boys, or at least the idea of boys. They've read the magazines and memorized the instructions on how to attract a boy, but they're also daunted by their rivals, slightly older girls in makeup and bikinis. They're also distracted by two major developments: one, Hailey's mother has a new job in Australia, which means the girls will be split up at when summer's comes to an end. And two, they find a mermaid in a swimming pool. This would be Aquamarine (Sara Paxton), running away from an arranged marriage. Determined to prove the existence of love (and so, avoid her father's plans), Aquamarine pursues Raymond (Jake McDorman, who shows a gift for physical comedy and making faces), the very pretty lifeguard on whom Hailey has a crush. The girls and mermaid cut a deal: if, in three days, Aqua can get Ray to say he loves her, she avoids a loveless wedding and will grant the girls a wish

All Abroad With My Language

I am about to spend a year abroad in Brazil and must learn Portuguese in about two weeks. What do I do? The first step I take is to go out and buy one of those DVDs that help you learn foreign languages fast and easy. I will create a schedule for me to watch and learn Portuguese at least two hours a day. If I watch these videos and repeat what they say I am sure I will start to pick up the basics of Portuguese quickly. However, I must stay committed and not give up when I become frustrated. Next I will go out and practice my Portuguese. I will go out to restaurants and see if I can order food in Portuguese. I might go out to a bookstore and see if I can read a Portuguese book. Learning Portuguese for me will consist of hearing and then practicing with other people. If I don't practice then I will not get the hang of it. Practicing with other people is important because they can interact with me in a way that the DVD/ television ca not. They can give me extra pointers and point out what I am doing wrong. I will have an advantage in learning Portuguese because I know Spanish and Portuguese consists of some similarities to Portuguese. If I follow theses steps I should pick up Portuguese quickly for my year abroad trip.

The Music Video

One music video that I like a lot is actually a scene in a movie but can be seen as a music video online. The video I am talking about is called "Your Biggest Fan" San by Nick Jonas. It is a song he sings in an episode to his girlfriend because he didn’t know how to show her his love and he didn’t want to keep denying it. When I saw this video it felt very inspirational. It is in his singing of the song that the female main character Macy realizes that she is in love with Nick. His macho, cool personality of superstar started to become more humble because as he sang the song to her he felt the passion he had for her and the chemistry they could create for each other. The words in the music video are about understanding that love can be lasting no matter how you want to show it to the world.  Nick Jonas voice is so smooth and beautiful that it is perfect for this song and scene. His angelic voice brings out the emotion of the viewers and their acting only makes it better. At the end of the song the family starts to applaud and every one is shock because he confesses his love though a song. This Music Video made me realize that love can not e denied and love can be powerful just like the song being powerful and showing a tough emotion. Now I know I can write to show my love for the one I love!

Teenage Fad

Teenage fad carries out a lot on fashion. For example teenage fad is occurring on at this moment and time is the fad of ear gauges. I personally find them disgusting because of how they make your ears look by stretching your ears but a lot of teenagers are doing it. I believe stretching  the ears is so popular because since teens see a lot of people doing it they too go and get them done, and then other see them thus, they go get their ears done and the cycle continues. Another reason I have heard from friends is that when you are stretching your ears you develop an addiction to the pain. Now I am not sure that this is true for everyone with ear gauges but it is true for at least one person. Many teens have been going for a rocker type look and these ear gauges complement such a desire. However, the ear gauges are also popular because they don't necessarily have to be for a rocker style, although the majority of teens who have it seem to be going for such a look. Gauges come in many different colors and styles. Overall I feel ear gauges are popular among teens because it is the new thing right now and teens are always looking for the new thing because they in fact have not found their true identity yet. It is completely understandable for teens to experiment with styles. However, the reason I am not a fan of this fad is because I don't want to end up with stretched ears for the rest of my life. I do not find stretched ears to be cute. This how I feel about this and anyone is free to not agree with me to get ear gauges. I think this fad will eventually come to an end because it doesn’t have so much popularity with society,

The Relationship with Animal

People have beautiful relationship with their animals can sometimes be one of the most beautiful relationships. When you see a person sharing a deep connection with their animal their is a common love that resonates whenever they are around each other. When a animal commits to a relationship with a human they have committed their loyalty and sometimes even their life. The animal will immediately act if it feels their person is in danger and may even risk their life to save that of their partner. I think relationships between people and their animals are so great because the person finds a non judgmental factor in the animal. No matter how bad the person acted at work or what he did while driving, the animal looks right past it and continues to love the person. This gives the person a sense of security in knowing that even if he commits mistakes there will always be someone at home who loves him. To the animal the person serves as a master. the person gives commands and if obeyed the animal gets treats. The person feeds them, plays with them, and shows affection with pats and "good boys." It is a relationship where there is a balance between give and take. Another relationship animals have with people is that of service. Some animals serve their person as eyes. The are a form of guidance. Animals can be a friend that can last forever because their friend that will be there to the end.

My Best Desert Ever

The most luscious, decadent dessert ever has to be something with  chocolate. As a chocolate eater, I would start of by having a chocolate cake. Inside, the filling would be of a chocolate butter cream of some sort or a mixture of strawberry. This would add more depth to the cake instead of it just being only chocolate. The outside frosting would be chocolate mousse, handmade and whipped of course. On top would be some chocolate dipped strawberries and some  chocolate shavings. On the side would be one of two choices. The first choice is a scoop of Oreo ice cream to add contrast to the sense of the tongue. The second choice is a cold glass of milk to help the chocolate delight go down. Either way both choices would add quality to the already amazing dessert. This dessert would immediately warm the taste buds and create an explosion of smooth goodness. I can already imagine the touch of the chocolate on my lips as it lands on my tongue and creates a party  impact. As it goes down my throat, my taste buds are already asking for more.With such a deliciously good dessert at hand, taking the last bite would be so sad yet so satisfying. Now I wish  I had this creation of dessert a.t this moment!

The Modern Life Without Cellphones

The modern days of now have change from top to bottom.For Example the modern life without cell phones, would be almost impossible. So many people rely on their phones to remind them of so many things, and to help them organize their day it is just so hard imagining modern life without cell phones. As technology keeps growing every day with new and new creations, the world gets even lazier. Before, everyone did not rely on cell phones or any sort of technology but themselves. Modern life without cell phones would be much slower, but more active in the way that more people will have to think for themselves and would always be in the library looking up information and more people would read because they would want to gain knowledge and that would be the only way than surfing the net and directly asking google a question and many links popping out as part of the results. Modern life without cell phones would be hard in contacting another person because today you can call or text a person within two seconds and without cell phones, you would have to mail a letter to whomever you wish to talk to or call them but not by using a cell phone. Today many people have trust issues with their children so they get them a cell phone to keep them in check, and without cell phones parents would need to trust their children by force because they would have no choice. Modern life without cell phones would be very different and more challenging.

Around Europe

Choosing somewhere to go in this world is to hard because there so much out there. Every country to me is beautiful. I know out there in the world, there’s one country I would love to visit. That country would be Europe. Europe is widely known for its extraordinary, beautiful landmarks. There’s the famous Rome, Italy, France and more places. Ever since I took French at my school, I have wanted to go to visit the Eiffel Tower in Paris. There are so many beautiful pictures of it but I would like to see it with the naked eye.  There is also the Vatican City; in Rome that is famous for its architecture and that is where the Vatican lives. There is Spain, where lots and lots of monuments and attractions are at. For example, there is the Clock Tower, Palace Gardens, El Retrato, Crystal Palace Del Prado Museum, and much more. In Italy, there is Castel Sant'Angelo, Chamber of Deputies, Piazza Navona, Pallazzo Barberini, Palazzo di Giustizia, Piazza del Campidoglio, Palazzo Senatorio, Ponte Vittorio Emanuele, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Victor Emmanuel and more. In France,  Arc de Triomphe, Centre Pompidou, Sainte-Chapelle, Palais des Papes, Avignon and more beautiful landmarks. In Rome there is The Pantheon, Galleria Borghese, the Colosseum, Basilica di San Pietro, Vatican Museums. I love Italian food, especially pizza, lasagna, pasta Alfredo and spaghetti.  I also love French pastries because they are so delicious. I also want to go to Europe because of the cute European guys and their adorable accent. With all the things that Europe has to offer, who would not want to go visit Europe.

Before collage...

When you dedcide to attend college in another state is a big decision because many things have to be arranged so that you can be settled on your own. Attending college in another state would definitely require you to take a few flights or trips over to the other state to explore the city and get used to it and know what it has to offer and what it does not to make your list to take. You would also need to talk to your insurance about your dentist and doctor to see how your check up will be arranged and if there can be any transfer of some sort or what your choices for an emergency are. You would also need to take actual trips to the college and explore it as well to get familiar to you and see what will your dorm look like and what will actually fit in there and what will not to buy those necessities. You would also need to take your family over there so that they know where you’ll be living at. You will want to definitely spend some quality time with your family because of the great distance that will intervene because you will end up regretting not spending time with them before you left to college. You also want to go shopping for what you will be able to take and need in college and try to look for great deals and earn a bit of money because it will be useful to you later on in the future.

Its A Surpise Birthday

My best friend currently lives in New York. His name is Irvin, and I have known him since high school, ninth grade to be exact. I am currently a junior in high school and his in college, so that adds up to be about three long years. His birthday is coming up pretty soon and I would definitely love to surprise hir for his birthday. I would fly to New York and set him up so that he sees me and when he does, he will be in awe. I would call his wife, ask her how is everyone doing, and tell her about my intentions on surprising her so for his birthday since we have not spent a birthday together since three years ago. Most likely, his wife will definitely agree with my intentions because she knows how close we are and she will love to see her husband be happy. About a month before his birthday, I would order my flight ticket for the day before his birthday at night so that I could arrive at New York in the morning and so Irvin's wife could pick me up from the airport. When I begin to get everything ready, I would go shopping for a special gift for Irvin and make a copy of one of our pictures together so he could remember the old days and keep it forever. So my plan would be to arrive in the morning of his birthday to New York before he gets out of bed, and arrive at his house in the morning, so that his wife could wake him up and tell him hat there is something special for him waiting in the living room. Once he gets up anxiously and walks over to the living room he’ll be in awe, and that’s my plan.

The Decade That Amazes Me

I find any decade amazing because it carries so much history that you dont where to choose froom. if i made thechoice of choosin ga decade it would be 70’s. I choose the 70’s because it had a an amazing fashion and t had an era of entertainment. New, music, new fashion styles, new dance moves, and etc. Today, we see the seventies as a theme for different occasions. I would live in this era because I like being colorful and dressing hip and stylish like they did. It would definitely be fun to live that era because it seems like it did not happen when it really did. Schools often do a 70’s theme as part of spirit week or whatever the occasion may be and it is very cool to see everyone put their ideas and styles together to make an outfit of the 70’s. For Halloween people often dress up as the 70’s and it really stands out. I always imagine what if everyone dressed like that rather than everyone dressing extremely different. The music is another reason why I would want to live the 70’s era. A lot of the 70’s hits are very commonly known today, such as MC Hammer’s “Can’t Touch This.” I love the music that was developed in the seventies, which is the second top reason why I would like to live the 70’s era. As the new music developed new dances and dance moves had to be created. Many dance moves developed throughout the 70’s era as well which is why I would like to live the 70’s era.  The 70’s era is an era that was full of excitement, entertainment, and was very interesting

Loving and Thanking My Parents

Loving and thanking my parents for everything they have done for me mkaes me speechless because theres so much to say that i dont even know where to start from.I am very thankful for my parents presence because I begin to think life without them and how it would be impossible for me to survive without them. Thanks to my parents I exist and still am living today. My life may not be perfect, nor I have everything I want but many people would kill to have the life I have and I am grateful for that because my parents work hard every day to put food on the table for a family of five. Every day I think about how good I have it because a few of the people that I have encountered in my life have unfortunately lost one or both of their parents due to a tragedy, or their parents may be divorced, or their parents may have abandoned them which are all sad cases to listen to. If my parents were bad parents they would of aborted me, abandoned me, or put me in a death situation, but they have not because they are already good parents by taking me into their hands and taking care of me all these years since the day I was born. Just by raising me, and being by my side all the sixteen years of my life having their love and support is enough to prove that they are good parents and they do what they do because they care about me.

Newly arrived person

If any one were to ever ask me to write an article about a person newly arrived from another country, there are countless questions I would ask him or her. Supposing it was a she, I would begin questioning her by asking her what is her name. After I jot down her name, I would ask her how old she is, where she comes from, and why she came because the article will be mostly about the newly arrived person. After I have asked her those previous questions, I would ask her if she has visited this country before, if so for how long, for what reason, if she liked it or not, what she liked about it and what she disliked. I would ask her what are a few similarities between this country and her country from where she came from and some differences. I would ask her what does she plan to do while her stay here, and what she is going to try to stay away from. I would ask her what has she heard about this country, which good things and bad things. If she is scared of anything here. I would ask her what does she like about her country. I’d then ask her about her interests and hobbies. Such as what does she do for a living, what she loves to do on her free time, what is her favorite food, what things she dislikes and etc. so that the article could include information about her. I would include her background, her nationality, her birthday and more.

The opportunity to interview an older relative

If I ever had the opportunity to interview an older relative, in the goal of preserving family history. The questions I ask are well thought out and be sure my questions are not immature.knowing the fac hat this is my family's history so i want to make sure to keep it so that I can continue to pass it on. The first thing you i would do in advance for the time they are spending allowing me to question them. I would begin by asking, "where are we from?" This question will allow me to find out what part of the world I'm descending from: France,Italy,Australia. Next is "How did we get here?" This is going allowing me to learn about how my family emigrated from their country. I would ask "Why did we leave to come here?" as i do this it will help me find out if there was a war, famine, or if they emigrated just because they wanted to. As i continue i would ask,"What happened when our family first came to the United States? Did they have a reason to come here for a certain reason? Did the family start from scratch?" These questions will allow me to learn from my families struggles. I also would want to know how did my great grandparents meet? IBooks also ant to know he purpose of eir marriage if they marry because thwy loved each other or was it an arranged marriage?" I would also ask "What are some of our traditions. What part of our culture has been lost?" so as I continue qustioning i know more qustions will come to my mind and ything i wonde will gt anseqr hopefully!

Choosing the Right College

Choosing the right college can sometimes be difficult because most of them offer good opportunities. The college you decide to go tot you can say it’s the begging of you career so it is important to make an intelligent decision. First you need to decide whether you want to stay close to home, go somewhat far from home, or go out of state. The reason you choose is because you have to the benefit of your choices. The next step would be to narrow done the amount of colleges you wish to apply to. I would say that having about five colleges to apply to is a good number. In choosing these colleges there are few other things one must consider. When we apply we expect ourselves to do many things but no one expects you to know what you want to do for the rest of your life in terms of a career, by know you should have an idea of what you are interested in. Based on that idea you need to pick a college that has the major of your choice or majors you are interested in. Choose a college that has a major you like but also has other majors you might want to consider. The next step would be to submit all your applications. Make sure everything the college has asked for is taken care off. As much as it sucks the next step is to wait. Once you know which colleges have accepted you, make your final decision. Re-consider your interests, where you plan on staying and anything else. Choose the college that pleases your requirements the most and let them know you will be attending their institution. If you decide to follow these steps most likely you will be able to get in to college, but remember college is not a game and is the real game of life.

Master Plan

The city of Santa Monica is not known as a city of the stars.. It is a city known for the its beach and its events. In fact, in my own community, there is a beautiful views of the beach there a pier were you can go walk around and go eat at. This city doesn’t have so much drama like other cities. Santa Monica city will never ever bore you because it just has so many things.  My master plan for making my community better is by helping community relations create more events every week for the city and have more people be part of these events. We should create city teams and play games and have practices. We could also create more jobs for teenagers. This way they would be learning responsibility and making money an appropriate way great idea I to gather the community around and go clean the beach so it can be a healthier place for us and the sea animals. Basically the ocean would be better if the people in it made better decisions and kept the areas clean. I been part of Santa Monica events and I know its fun because you get to meet so many people and it’s amazing how everyone is. I know if the city has more of this more people would want to go and the city could probably win some extra money to do some founding over the city and its needs. I just hope the city improves more with events.

A Typical Day In My Life

A typical day in my life is very busy. For the purpose of this blog I have decided to describe a typical Monday in my life. At 4:00A.m my mom walks in to my room and wakes me up.  After she wakes me up I go and feed my dog and make sure he ready for hi s day. After that I go and choose my clothes for the day and then I go shower. At 6:00 AM I have to be out of the house and going to the school bus stop. Then I have school from 7:00 AM until 2:50 PM. On Mondays I go to classes such as AP U.S History, Physics and Creative Writing. Some of these classes require a lot of thinking and writing and can leave me mentally exhausted. During lunch I spend my day with my friends laughing and catching up on our day and what we plan for the rest of the day. After school I have either Explorers for the police from 5pm – 7pm or I either got to SCROC  3:45 PM until 6:45PM.Depending to which one I go I either have to take a school bus or get picked up by my parent, their regular time of picking me u from either places is 7:10pm. As soon as I get home I eat and start on my homework till I finish and then check on my dog. As soon as I finish all of this I go to bed and restart the following day with different activities.

Vegetable I Dislike

If someone ever asked me or I had I had to choose one vegetable I disliked the most it would have to be celery stick. Some people like them but I absolutely do not. I cannot help but take them out my plate and put them on dad plate. For example when I attend to someone else hose I will force myself to eat them by combining them with something else's and chewing them rapidly. I also take a large gulp of whatever I have to drink. I would much rather not eat them and throw them away but I do not want to seem rude. When I have reached a point where if I put another one in my mouth I will throw up I simply say I am full and thank them for a meal. Celery sticks to me are nasty. When you eat them they taste weird and I feel they leave a nasty taste in my mouth. When I have eaten salary sticks I have felt like I was eating spoonfuls of buggers. I see people eat them like nothing like if they were a fruit when I try it goes bad because I would grab a napkin in spit out on the napkin. Maybe my dislike of salary sticks might change in the future but for now celery sticks to me are horrible. Or maybe the ways in which I have eaten salary sticks are what make me dislike. Maybe if I try celery sticks in different ways I can teach myself to like them by adding it to some type of dip.

Prompt: Many junior high schools and high schools around the country now require students to spend a certain number of hours each term doing volunteer work or community service. Some people believe this is an excellent idea that promotes good citizenship and cultivates compassion. Others feel that forces volunteerism is not volunteerism at all. How do you feel about this issue? Use specific reasons and examples to support your position.

We all dream of having ourselves attending to one of the best universities in the country? Most top universities want new incoming students to have certain character traits, such as responsibility and good citizenship. With these traits, top universities will know that those students will be responsible college students, which will get good grades. Recently in the last years, high schools have been making their students do community service, which I think is a great idea.

Most importantly community service has a big impact in high schools and universities. Most high schools now require their students to do a certain amount of community service hours to graduate. This requirement is good, t was made to give a chance to the students to learn and help their community. Although it was also made, so that the universities could see the students help and care about their community, and have learned life experiences while doing it. This shows universities that the students have grown and matured, universities like this because there is a lot of freedom in college, which is why they want students that have certain character traits such as responsibility. I support this idea heavily, it helps students in a way that nothing else can.

Community service is a life learning experience that all teens or children, should do when their old enough. As I said earlier, it helps you acquire character traits, that you will need in life in order to be successful. I know everyone has big dreams and want to achieve them. Although no one will achieve their dreams without having certain character traits, that will push them, that will show them perseverance. Community service shows this, because it pushes you to do your best, to help your community in every way you can, and to make it a better place than it might be already. Until you feel satisfied as a person, that you have done everything you can to help the poor, sick, and in need. There is no better way, but to learn this by community service.

It not only gives you special traits, but it also keeps teens out of bad influence. Many teens live around negative influences that can attract them at times, because of simple reasons, they do not have anything to do or peer pressure. This happens often every day, but one way that it can be stopped is by helping your community. Community service, entertains you, and at the same time, it teaches you life lessons or experiences. Sometimes, community service requires you to get your hands dirty, which is good. Most f the time, it will teach you how to plant or help your local mission cook for the homeless, which most teens do not know how to do. Little tools as those may be helpful to them in the future, to be as a hobby or to even be as experience for a new job.

This whole idea is about helping students, in their life, and in their education. Community service is a perfect way to help your community in a positive manner, while you complete your hours for you school. I support this concept and strongly advise you as well too, because it will someday help your child as well.

My Brothers and Me and How We Deal With Each Other

In my family I live with my two twin brothers who are a year younger then me. In every family there are brothers and sisters who fight and argue. With my brothers we argue when we get tire of each other. All three of us have different taste in appearance on how e dress and how our personalities are which sometimes makes us have so much pride that makes argue on who is better in the house. That the only and main problem we always deal with. Sometime when we argue it affect us by not talking to each other and by being rude to each other. Even though all of this happens we know that we are still there for each other. No matter how harsh we could be with each other we never turn our back on each other we show respect because our parents have taught us the correct way. Sometimes we don’t show compassion for each other, but even thought we get mad and we feel like dislike us, deep inside we know we are family and that life continues and that our love for each other will show. We also get to talk things out when we are mad and we feel everything is bad with each other. However living with my brothers is fun, even thought when we fight and argue, because that is part of normal life. I am really thankful about having my two brothers in my life. I really thank GOD! <3

We all want to buy a new state of the art computer. I know for fact that we all want to be updated on technology, just like women and men want to be in style with fashion. Having to buy a new state of the art computer requires many steps that will guide to choose the right computer for you. I know that if I want to get a new state of the art computer I know I would want to purchase one that fit me and accommodates me in to my style and what I comprehend. To purchase this item I to take many steps to ensure I make the appropriate decision. To do this without making and harsh mistakes I would first jot down my ideas and then approach them. The first thing I need to do is look for the brand that accommodates my need and has what I am looking for. The next step would be to look if the computer I want serves the needs I want as a student. After that I will have to see the pros and cons of the computer, like what are its advantages and weakness. To me this step is very important because this step will help what is correct me and what really fits me for my school and my personal daily life. One I’m done reviewing these aspects of the computer, I should determine if the cost of the computers is worth it or not. I don't want to spend my money on a lousy computer that doesn’t fit my needs.

Personal Satement

     “Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never ever the same” (Unknown). Having an old friend move away is hard because I know you won't have that person around anymore. Having my best friend Elizabeth move to another city affected me a lot because I wasn’t going got see her as often like I used to and I wouldn’t have a lot of communication with her. She is unique she isn’t like the average friend you can you find anywhere. Having her as my friend is something that I will never duplicated with no one else.
     Elizabeth is one and a half year younger than me, and we get along like if we were sisters because we would always put up with each other. We would have our fights, we have our moments, we have our memories and we love each other sister rather than just best friends. When I found out that she was going to move to another city was a big impact for me as well as for her because we dint want to leave each other. Having to find out this news was a big disappointment. This occurred after we had graduated from eighth grade before our summer started. Having to deal with the distance of where she lived was already bad enough, now knowing I was not going to be able to see her until her family would bring her over to my city.
       Having to find this out before my summer made ever a big disappointment because I didn’t want to let go of her she my sister, my best friend, she my family. I didn’t want to see reality because I didn’t want to look at the fact she was going to leave. When the day arrive of her leaving it finally hit me that it was going to be our last day time together and saying goodbye. At that moment we both busted out in tears because we were like family to each other and I didn’t want her to move. As he left we both had the feeling that it was going to be long until we see each other. So what she plan without me knowing is that she made a tradition to come every of my birthdays. This has helped us stay positive about our friendship.
          Now, thanks to technology we now communicate through the telephone, email, instant messaging, text messaging and through webcam. Throughout these past years I’ve kept a positive mentality that soon my birthday will come and I will be able to see her. Now the only memories I have to rely are on pictures of us of when we when we would spend time together. Even though it makes me sad, deep inside I stay positive and I pull through. I know having this disappointment is hard for me but I know that I have gotten use the fact that so far away and that I won’t being able to spend time with her like I used to.

Memoir

As we people judge by appearance and by how they act with other or by what we hear. This is real unfair because we really don’t know who the person is until we meet them. I remember how I was misjudging by one of my close friends before meeting her and also my daily friends. My friend and I both had different point of views of each other. My friends misjudge me by thinking that was conceited and a girl who was a pretty girl who only shop for brands. She also misjudge me by hearing rumors from others that I was a liar and mean and was picky about my friends. That I wasn’t a good friend and I wasn’t worth having friends, but also at the same time that I was innocent and quiet. Now that my friends and me are friends and were close she told me that she feel bad that she believe the rumors because she knows those people only said it to gossip because they had no better life. She now tells me that I am very funny and caring. That I know how to be a true friend and not like others who only gossip and back stabs you when you least expected. I also know for fact that I love caring for others and I always lend my shoulder to anybody that needs it. I also like to help everyone with their problems. My friends come to me or I go to them when they are having problems because they find that I can help them and I give them good advice. I also know that I can be loud and girly but I’m just me and nothing can ever change that. So I know that not just my close friend change her mind about me, but also people change their minds about me once they start talking to me.

 Prompt: Most states allow people to get a driver’s license at the age of 16. Some people feel that 16 is much too young for the responsibility that comes with driving a car and that teenagers should not be allowed to drive until the age of 18. In your opinion, at what age should people be allowed to drive, and why?

             Driving is a privilege that we all have to earn. Each person that has a license has earned it, even if your 16, by law you are eligible to drive. Teenagers are always judge, when their behind the wheel, just because they might be 16 an still are in there teenage years. I do not think being 16 has nothing wrong to do with your driving which is why you take the DMV test, to see if you can handle thru les of driving. Sixteen, in my opinion is the perfect age to get a permit and then their license.

            Teenagers are always getting judge mainly when they are in the road. I think this is unfair because everyone went through the same process of getting your license and getting your first car. As I see some of my friends drive I pay attention to the road, but older people have tried to cause problems just because I am young. I think this is another reason that some accidents happen, teenagers just like other people on the road want to be safe as well. Although when accidents happen, everyone thinks that the younger person did it for not paying attention, or for being foolish. Most of the time this is not the case and situations like this put a bad reputation for teenagers on the road.

            To get a license is not a simple process of going to the DMV and signing up for one. You have to first go to take classes at any driving school, for a whole week, nine hours a day, until they give a certificate that you passed the class. After you have to take that to the DMV and take a written test, which you only have three chances to pass. If passed then you have to wait six months to finally take your behind the wheel test. Don’t you think this process is enough to proof you can drive? I do, the whole process takes about a year, and all tens that drive went through this process as well.

             During high school, teenagers have many more priorities to worry about. For example, the most important is getting to school, not all the students in every school live near it, some live far. Those students have to take multiple buses to get to school, which sometimes cause them to arrive late. That is why many teens cannot wait till they get their license, so that they can finally get to school on time. Teenagers have many needs that involve the using of a vehicle.

             For some people, letting teenagers get licenses at 16 might seem too young, but it is not. Teenagers deserve more respect the same way adult and elders receive it. Teens depend on their cars, and without their car they wouldn’t be able to accomplish their method in life. So don’t take away what they depend on, it could be their future that you jeopardize!

Public Health Concern

Public health is one of the worst thing there is in our society. I would say cancer is the second leading death of human beings in the United States. Cancer is constantly attacking more and more humans leading them to death. There exist so many cancers now that has become a real massive public health concern for everyone. Cancer can exist in about any part of the body meaning that you cannot avoid cancer in one area and have it in the other. Cancer is caused by changes (mutations) to the DNA within cells. The DNA inside a cell contains a set of instructions telling the cell how to grow and divide. Errors in the instructions may allow a cell to become cancerous.  Everyday more and more people are being victims of cancer and not half of them are strong enough to fight cancer. There needs to be a cure to cancer immediately in order to save most human beings from cancer which may or may not lead to death, based on if they have a good immune system or not. Studies have shown that elderly people and children are the majority out of all age groups that are mostly being affected by cancer. Elderly people are being affected because they don’t have a very great strong immune system as they did back twenty years ago. Children are also another main age group because they haven’t fully developed and their immune system hasn’t developed by completely and when their cells abnormally divide that causes cancer in their bodies. Cancer is definitely a major public health concern that must be taken into consideration immediately.

My Favorite Season

My favorite season of the year from all four would have to be summer. Summer is the best season for me because Im never home im mostly out town meeting the world. My summer is just countless things I like to do during summer. I like to go to diffrent cities and visit the beachs, and lay dow to relax to leave all my stress. I like to go to alot of diffrent cities especially to San Fransico because I feel I'm in a new place surrounded of new people and alot of new thing to meet! Also i like spend my summer at the police station because I get to go out and get to learn alot of new expierences. I love going to the pool to swim in my teams and compete with other pools everday. I also love to walk my dog at the promenade Because is a ho day and walking and shopping and with my dog makes everything so awsome. One tradition we have with our family for every summer is t go to the amusment parks and have fun with my friends. I like to go to the movies on Fridays with my family. I like to go to water parks and have fun with my family. I like to invite my neighbors to my house to play games outside such as basketball, soccer, the slip'n' slide or just splash each other with waterballoons or the water hose. And best of all I love to sleep in because I have no worries about school. I like to party all night long, and have fun. Summer is just a relaxing and awesome season that everyone loves.

Test are a very important to take in life because they prove have how much you have learn over the week, month, year and etc. Although the subjects and the occasions may vary, the basic steps involvement in reaching your goals to pass the college admissions you must do a lot to get to the point of greatness. To reach the goal to pass the college admission you will be under strict time limits.  If you really want to reach the goal of passing is by one having a real good breakfast and also y doing a study guide. Doing a study guide will help you out a lot because if you know what the test is sabot and you study your started on a good start. Second of all knowing the material is important. Knowing the materials you learn over the years helps you a lot because it helps because you have created an idea of the stuff you have learn. Third of all be relax do not anticipate anything if you do it would have you nervous and you would not be able to concentrate and try not to panic because if you do everything will seem hard. Read the instructions twice and carefully to get a good understanding of what you’re going to do in each section of the test and also be a good listener, which is very important. If you have the ability to jot down ideas for your test then does it because it will help you on your sections. If you do this when you present you college admission test you will be good because you will have confidence.

Ending A Relationship

Ending a relationship is one of the worst things a person can do because being dumped is one of the most devastating things that happens in life. Therefore, one should always weigh the reasons for walking out, making sure of this decision before making it final. Once you are sure, though, it's important to remember that your soon-to-be ex was once your love. Although breaking this Relationship off is certain to be painful, especially for the person being dumped, it's important to be respectful of the other person's feelings, and try hard to do as little damage as possible. When you’re about to end a relationship you should always be certain that you want to make the right decision. Be sure not to make you relation end because of your emotional feelings because that’s just hurting yourself and the other person. As you’re going to end your relationship be wise in what you’re going to say because if you’re not your going to hurt that person a lot. Also know when it’s the right to break up with him or her, be sure that they’re not going through difficulties in life with other personal problems because that would just make everything worse for you and that person. If you really want to end the relationship for a strong reason and just for any excuse go and do before you hurt that other person. Be prepare for the worst because once you guys end up everything will seem miserable for that person and would just break down depending on their emotions and gender. When ending a relationship can be very tough but time everything will get calm and the broken hearts would mend little by little!

How to make a new friend

Any one has the ability to make new friends by simply do doing simple steps. You can make a new friend in many ways, but you can always start off by introducing yourself and saying “Hi, I am Summer, what’s your name?” Then, the person will say “Hello, my name is Winter,” something similar to that. Then you can ask questions like “What your favorite sport? Or “Or you’re not an athlete?” You can also make a new friend by helping someone if they are in a situation where they need help with something. For example, if you see that a person dropped money for a notebook you can be polite and pick it up for them and then give it back to them and be like “Here you go, you drop this when you were going through your bag?” After that you can continue to carry on a conversation. Always be yourself and don’t try not being someone you’re not. You can also make a new friend by just going up to a person and introducing yourself and saying that you want to be their friend if they do not mind. Afterwards if you want to carry on a conversation you can talk about their interests. Join an organization with people who have common interests. Join a sports team, people make new friends because of sports because you become like a family who win and lose together. Be able to make friends is easy just be you and never appear to be someone else to fit in.

My Favorite Game

My favorite game is to play Barbie World online. Barbie World is my favorite game because the things that you can do on are so amazing. You can design clothes and be really fashionable dressing up Barbies and how you want your fashion line to come out. Playing this game online makes me feel more a designer because I can show my own styles in many ways. My favorite things to do on the Barbie World id to choose out clothes and get to pick out your own Barbie models. I also love shopping on Barbie world they have so many amazing things to buy that are so girly and unique for me! Having to play this game makes me feel relax and that the only thing that exist for me is just fashion. Playing this game shows me that I don’t just have to be into law enforcement but I can also do other things that are play a big role in my life. So to this game to my fashion class I have learned to love the Barbie World just because of the games it has. The best part of this website is that you don’t just get to dress up Barbies but you get to shop play several of games and just so much more.  I know I became fore fashionista because of this game and because what I have learn to create from my mind in from view in the world of fashion. This is a game I will never stop playing because of the interest I have for fashion design.

Prejudice

Prejudice is when you are not being ready to change a belief is the cause of prejudice and problem is the effect of it. Prejudice is the right and moral of others. Prejudice is caused by the lack of knowledge of others. Prejudice has the cause of having and being part of discrimination, which is a negative manifestation of integrative power. Instead of bringing or holding people together, prejudice and discrimination push them apart. Ironically, even prejudice implies some sort of relationship. If there is no relationship people would be completely unaware of another person's or group's existence. When there is any relationship at all even a negative one there is some integration. This is seen in military patriotism, in nationalism, and in any situation of "negative identity" in which one group defines itself in terms of what it is not. This tends to lead into a "pathological situation of internal violence, often perpetuated through the family itself." Prejudice also occurs on smaller scales as well, when one group holds negative stereotypes of another group and discriminates against members of that group based on those stereotypes. The effect of prejudice can come from any person at any time. Sometimes it is a part of a person when they are born. A whole town, state, or country could show prejudice towards others. Prejudice in many cases ends in violence.  One topic I hate of prejudice is racial because all that exist is ignorance, brainwashing, upbringing, negative experiences with individuals of a given race. While the effects are having judgment, slurs, violence, hate crimes, death, inequality, inhumanity, discrimination. i think having this is incorrect and we should all treat each other with respect.

My Personal Statement

Growing up in a world of diversity has influenced me as well as those around me. I grew up in the city of Los Angeles which is on the coast of California. In this world I have learned that life can be very inspirational and that it will put me through many things to get where I want to be.  As I am growing up I have experience many easy and harsh moments. Even though I experience many things, in the town I am growing up it has made realize that I am only me and no one can ever replace that because there is only one me.

Having to grow up in this town as a young girl, who has always lived with a Hispanic heritage with my parents and brothers have been one of the best influences I could live in life. My parents have always been strict but they have their reason to how they are because they know how life is and they have been through my life. My parents both went to school but only my mom finish and graduate with her state degree for cosmetologist. So I know for fact that I am not the first child to go to college because from my parents family all my cousin have gone to college and have completed their AAA ,BA and some there Masters.

Having to grow up in this world with my parents as parts of my life have made me the person I am. I am the type of person who can get along with anyone no matter how nice or rude the person could be. I like being a person of positively who does not let thing bring me down easily. I also never let my friend’s guide me through the wrong rode because I believe that god made each one of us to make our own choices and not let others do it for us.

As a young student school I faced a lot of challenges because I attended a school that did not benefit me in any academic way. So from there I transfer to a better district that had better standards and had the opportunity to become a better student. At the end I was able to attend high school. The most difficult way that I have challenged myself in high school is by being strict with myself. A way that I would be strict with myself is that I wouldn’t attend parties if my school work was not finished. It was hard to give up parties and having a good time with my friends, but I had to do it because I knew grades were more important in the long run. This to me was the most important challenge I brought upon myself because to me, self discipline is what makes the difference between average and great students, because in college you will need self discipline to accomplish many goals.

The high school I attend is not very big, but it has made me realize that my main goal is to go to college. My school is an honors school that has now become charter because of its high academics. Now that my school is charter it has made me focus more in to going into college. Which makes it the first steps to a successful future and that’s something I want to obtain. In order to accomplish the challenge to get into college, I have done many things to get myself prepared throughout high school. One of the challenges I have imposed on myself to get prepared for college is not procrastinating. All this made me prove to myself I could be somebody in life who could always dream of traveling to other countries and pursuing my dream of becoming an FBI agent.

Some of these experiences these experiences have taught me the correct way to cope with friends and others have taught me the value of my education. During my time in school I have challenged myself greatly. I know that all these different types of challenges have prepared me fully for college. Now I’m not intimated by what college will bring because I am confident that I can handle it. I have the discipline, the multi task abilities, and the confidence to do so. College is the first step to a successful future and that’s something I want to obtain.

The Impulse of Buying

The cause and effect of impulse of buying has its pros and cons. The cause of buying is because sometimes you have temptations or the impulse of wanting the item. The bad thing about this is that you do not always need the item. Having the impulse of always wanting to buy things has the effect of becoming and addiction that cannot always become controllable. I know this because I have a family friend who always has the impulse of wanting to buy everything she would see. Sometimes this addiction come to the point where it its uncontrollable and you cannot stop it. The impulse of this addiction is like a drug you have that you can do easily but becomes hard to let go. The reason you also go through this is because at times you want to replace things you never had in you past that now you can have in your present. At times impulse buying happens when you get caught up in the hype of a situation and you buy something without thinking much about it. Impulse items may be new products, samples or well-established products at unexpected low prices. Despite the marketing and lifestyle factors that encourage it today, impulse buying is not yet well understood. This is due in part to the long-standing absence of a compelling conceptualization of this distinctive type of purchasing behavior. Vehicle exhaust, forest fires, volcanic eruptions, dry soil erosion, and other natural sources, building construction, demolition are just some of the causes of air pollution.  Water pollution is also a commonly known type of pollution. Water pollution involves any contaminated water, whether from chemical, particulate, or bacterial matter that degrades the water’s quality and purity. Water pollution can occur in oceans, rivers, lakes, and underground reservoirs, and as different water sources flow together the pollution can spread. Some causes of water pollution are: Increased sediment from soil erosion, improper waste disposal and littering, leaching of soil pollution into water supplies, organic decay in water supplies and more. Another type of pollution is soil pollution. Soil pollution is the contamination of the soil that prevents natural growth and balance in the land whether it is used for cultivation, habitation, or a wildlife preserve. Some soil pollution, such as the creation of landfills, is deliberate, while much more is accidental and can have widespread effects. Some effects of soil pollution are: hazardous waste and sewage spills, non-sustainable farming practices, such as the heavy use of inorganic pesticides, strip mining, deforestation, and other destructive practices, household dumping and littering and more.

People come to the United States to immigrate because they believe that it is better than their native country. In fact, some people even believe that the United States is the best country in the world.  The United States offers lots of great opportunities in most states. The United States may not seem like the best country in the world, but overall this country has a lot to offer.

Many people think the United States is the best country in the world because of it’s the strongest economy in the world and it has a lot of money which means the country has a lot of power.  The United States goes by education, and the more education you obtain the more power and the more money you earn. All you have to do to gain power is get your education and take the right path based on what you want to do.  Not to mention education is free up until college but you can still receive the college education free with grants and scholarships.

Many people like my parents, migrated from Mexico because they wanted a better life and a decent job so that they actually could live off.  My parents came to the United States more than twenty years ago and they are now citizens because they took advantage of the great opportunities the United States offered them.  My parents earned the residence back few years ago, and then applied for the citizenship and within the first or second try they passed and obtained their citizenship. My parents were in the shoes of many immigrants and they managed to pull through and make it through up till today after more than twenty years, so if my parents can do it, anyone can succeed in obtaining their citizenship.

Many people immigrate to the United States because they want to seek opportunities that are not offered at their native country. In the United States people who are considered aliens still are eligible to work for a decent, living wage to live comfortably.  The U.S. offers aliens the eligibility to apply for the citizenship and be able to travel in and out of the United States and to other countries. In other countries, they let you get a temporary Visa for certain people that have businesses or reasonable excuses to leave their country. 

The United States is a great country and I believe in it as well as my parents and all the other people who have benefitted from migrating from their native countries to the U.S. The United States has much to offer but you just have to go after those opportunities and don’t give up on them. The United States has a lot of power and money, and in order to be part of those great indulgences you just have to go chase them until you reach them by taking the correct paths. Anyone can benefit from migrating to the United States if they really want to because the U.S. is the best country in the world.

Modern life without computers

A day without my phone makes me feel lonely. Now if I were to think about the modern day life without computers is impossible to even imagine. Computer usage is a necessity now this day because we have became to attach to computers in our lives now these days and now we can’t leave it for many reasons. Computers are used to research, type up documents, post information, play games, communicate and etc. Without computers we would need to research information at a local library or directly to the company, place, organization, business or etc to find out what you need. If we were to live without computer out lives be not to organize because we rely on how the computer helps us have to be neatly by being type and not hand written and not having to work twice as hard to try to get the word out to the people. Without computers pictures would not be able to be edited by using online features. It would be tougher being organized without a computer because computers can store memory and set up alarms for important events or meetings and what not. Computers help create models, and create objects and without it, the objects would be harder to make because you would go through a different process rather than doing it on the computer. Computers help conserve a certain amount of paper by emailing rather than paper mailing to the people, therefore there would be more paper use leading to cut down more trees. Modern day life cannot be thought to be simple because the existence of computers, because thanks to computers everyone’s lives have been made easier and not so complicate like old days.

Tips for Drivers

In this world no one has the ability to be perfect because everyone could use some improvement with themselves. Everyone includes artists, actresses, teachers and especially drivers. Now these days we have car accidents because of the fact that new drivers and some old drivers do not know how to approach different driving obstacles. Everyday there are new young drivers out on the streets. Everyday there are crazy drivers, old drivers, young drivers and many other kind of drivers out there that together make the streets unsafe but rather dangerous for pedestrians and other drivers is the certain precautions are not taken and reinforced. One piece of advice that is given to drivers is for the drivers to not forget that they are driving and always keep your eyes on the road because you can always get side tracked while driving whether it is looking at another car, or looking at a store on your way and etc. Another tip that drivers could use is to remember that they are driving therefore they need to follow the rules when driving because often people choose to do whatever they like out on the streets and end up actually creating an accident and sometimes a fatal accident which can lead to law suits. Another tip that should be given to drivers is that they need to get a Bluetooth head set for their cell phone so that both hands could stay on the steering wheel and to prevent them from receiving a ticket for use of cell phone with one hand.

Wow! Imagine being one of the best performers in the world. Be able to have the ability to win a lot of money for being a great singer. The performer I chose is Sarah Brightman because she is a greater singer and song writer. Her voice is the voice of an angel who can sign with no beat of music to beat with music. She needs no back up to lip sing she is all natural with her voice. Her career began as a member of the dance troupes “Pan's People” and “Hot Gossip” and she had the released of many discs as a solo performer. After that she made her musical theatre debut in Cats and met composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, whom she married. She went on to star in several Broadway musicals including The Phantom of the Opera, where she played the role of Christine Daaé, The Original London Cast Album was released in CD format in 1987 and selling over 40 million copies worldwide, making it the biggest-selling cast album of all time. The Phantom of the Opera was top hit that made her gain more publicity and people started to recognize her more. As she started to perform more she started to gain a lot of awards. Now in the present she is one of the opera singers there is in the world. She has one of the best voices you have ever heard in the world. Her voice is very unique she was born with this talent. Having Sarah go through this in her life has put out with the media and brought a lot of publicity in to her life.
